I love these pants! I have two pairs. Not because they wear out but because I need one pair here in Montana and one pair in Sweden. With only light weight long-johns under I am very comfortable in even the coldest weather … Minus 25 degrees Celsius. I wondered how warm these pants would be without a fuzzy lining. They felt snuggy and had enough stretch to be comfortable. They have enough room to wear ling underwear if necessary. The waste could be a bit higher and perhaps a waste and of warm tights material would be nice.

I searched everywhere for lightweight insulated pants to wear over leggings and pants. I put these on and did not take them off for over two weeks in our extremely cold Anchorage winter snap. I wore them inside and outside, over pants and just with leggings. They are awesome! They fit well and are extremely comfortable. I was afraid the flexible side strip down the legs would let cold air through, but it was not an issue. I was able to dress them up for dinners out with one of your down jackets or wear them with casual layering. I am wearing them today to go on a winter car camping trip… Might wear them to bed if it gets too cold lol. I highly recommend these pants. Well worth the investment.

Super comfortable and perfect over a thin base layer. They move with you and don’t make any funny noises like some pants. My only suggestion would be to increase your inseam. They seem a tad short compared to other brands and then you risk snow getting down into your boots.
