After returning to Western North Carolina from Alaska, I went to my local “outdoor” shop. I inquired about the Long Skhoop skirt only to be told by the young salesgirl, “It doesn’t get cold enough around here for us to carry those in our store.” Huh? Early morning car duty in wintertime ...football games in December..etc. I ordered my long skirt online. THE best investment ever. Well worth the price.
Great customers service!!
I was gifted my first long Alaskan down skirt. The BEST gift I ever received, hands down! That was 8 years ago and, aside from the nicks in it I got from tromping around Alaskas terrain and ice, it still beats all odds. That is why, today, I am spending $200 to buy another one. No other piece of clothing gets my attention like this skirt. I cant imagine living in Alaska without it!!
Recently went tent camping with my husband in the Idaho/Nevada mountains. As far as we know, the coldest temperature was 0 degrees and I was sure glad I had Skhoop ski pants and ski skirt! I wore them as a set along with wool thermals and I was perfectly warm! Skhoop's winter clothing are top quality, durable and keep you warm during cold weather! This isn't your Walmart price, but neither is it Walmart quality--definitely worth every $1 in investing in Skhoop clothing! 5+ stars!!
I have had this skirt through 8 Winters in Chi-beria. If you aren't familiar with Chicago, that's no small feat. I work in television and have to spend 12+hour days shooting outside in Winter, rain, snow, or -40°F. This skirt has kept me warm and sane in conditions that could have otherwise been dangerous. It is the BEST gear you can buy if you plan to spend sedentary time outside in the Winter. The durability/longevity of the skirt makes it a wonderful value.
